Hi, I'm Dayna
a commercial photographer and retoucher based in Toronto, ON.
I got my first camera when I was 8. It used 110 film and I took it with me everywhere I went. I took pictures of my family, our cat and even our trips to the grocery store. Needless to say, I was totally enamored. Since then I have upgraded my equipment but the sentiment remains the same.
Nowadays, I collaborate with brands like yours who want to bring life to their message, share their product or story. I have a background in marketing, graphic design and art direction which helps me tailor photography projects to business goals.
Whether I’m in-studio or on-location, I always aim to bring real, honest moments to life and invite the viewer to see themselves there. I love to play up the elements of texture, motion and colour through dynamic lighting and clean editing to enhance the mood.
When I’m not doing photographer related things, I can be found turning the kitchen into a disaster zone, enjoying my balcony garden or trying out the latest vegan resto in town.
